Casio’s G’zone Rock – Review and Demonstration
This video is a quick review and demonstration on the Casio G’zone Rock made exclusively for Verizon Wireless. This is one of the best weather resistant outdoor Cell Phones out there! Since Youtube only gives you a 10 minute maximum video length, I just went over the G’z Gear features, MP3 player, quality of the raw cell phone videos, and an actual water resistant test. Overall, I think this is an excellent phone for the people who love the great outdoors and want some cool outdoor features, or for those of you who have dropped their cell phone on the ground, in the sink, or the toilet… yes, thats me!

awesome phone, i have att, do they have anything like that? would i have to buy one that is jailbroken?
AT&T does not have any weather proof/water resistant phones but they do sell a special coding/case for their phones.
how long do you think the release button will work? and is phone good with texting because a few people said it delays
@KalConduitman
The quick release button is smooth and should work for a long, long time. The texting works fine on this phone and the buttons are raised making it easier to text and dial. I have not experienced the delay.
ok good because my family is getting new phones, and I cant get the env touc, because of the data plan, so I like military stuff so I was thinking this looks good. I really wanted a keyboard but I dont like the intensity. So hopefully people in school wont make fun of me for having this, IDK why they would cuz it looks bad-ass
do you have to pay for internet to get gzgear
No, you do not need to pay for internet to use G’zGear. It is part of the phone itself so all the G’zGear features would work even if you didn’t have phone service.
I just got it today and it IS SO SWEET!!
Thats what I think too! It’s an excellent phone. It’s not for everyone but it fits my needs and I love the G’zGear features. Congrats on the purchase. It should last a long, long time.
awesome… hows it work with dropping or throwing… maybe slamming it on a table?
@mcvaluemenu
It can take a lot of shit for sure… but its not indestructible!
ive had my rock for since december and everybody i have classes thinks its cool, likes it and a couple of my friends even got one because they liked it so much. I actually make fun of people with smart phones now that i have this phone lol
@zr2chevypickupman lol dude its so cool everyone i showed it 2 likes it and today I had track and it started pouring so everyone
put their phone away except me. the were like dude ru stupid your phones gonna get ruined and I just said no its water proof.
I felt so good. The gz gear is amazing and i use it all the time
Are the Casio G’zOne Rock’s G’zGear features free?
Yes, The G’zGear features are all FREE of charge.
Great review, thanks.
oh my God, this is the most boring review ever.
@09ThunderOne you are an idiot
@KalConduitman Really? Because I get bored when people tell me what they are going to do 30 times before they actually fucking do it.
@09ThunderOne That made no sense. This is the only Great review of this phone on youtube. If you don’t like it guess what? We don’t give a shit about your opinion so, it is pointless to bitch about something that isn’t true
*Thumbs Up for TOOL!*
@KalConduitman hahaha that’s pretty fucking hypocritical seeing as how you decided to reply to my comment initally.
I originally had the Boulder…loved it so i had an upgrade and got this Casio Rock …I been through well this will be my 5th come Monday..nobody can hear me..the software is terrible and i bitch to Verizon constantly and all they do is send me the same damn phone …but have no problem taking my monthly payments…pocket pickers.
omg i’m gonna get this phone soon!!! my omnia sucks!!! Thanks for wonderful video!!!
@09ThunderOne Yeah because I wanted to let you know how much of a bitch you are. No one could give a shit about your opinion. Why don’t you get off your ass and make videos, if this one isn’t good enough for you?
ok I have the g’zone rock phone; just got it…my question is: is there supposed to be a plug for the two ports that the docking station (charger) uses to charge the phone? if not; how will water affect the metal terminals?
