This short video explores ways to determine if your cell phone has been compromised to act as a bug. While it’s obviously unlikely that this would happen to most people, it was recently revealed that the FBI has used this technique, and just as illicit wiretaps are possible, illicit cell phone bugging could also occur. I’m scared now… Well at least I lost my phone a few months ago…
ok, my phone the LG Dare by verizon has been acting up. My phone seems to get warmer and the battery lasts a day( used to last a week). Somtimes my phone will randomly turn off or light up whern in idle. But really if im being bugged what can i do. NOTHING. All i can do is watch what i say until it stops or i get a new phone but thanks for the video.

it is illegal to tap cellphones with a Warrant. watched it on HBO wire.
Canadian police also have the “authority” to wiretap without a warrant. There was a recent story about it on cbc….

just keep your phone by a speaker at all times. some phones just have plain shitty battery life span. my new phone is the shittiest piece of shit you can buy. it dont last but 2-3 days of hardly any use.

I’m glad he threw in the truth there by saying “or peace activist” because we know the government is actually monitoring many peace movements as if they were terror suspects. Knowing how corrupt our government is though, it makes sense that they would see peace as their enemy & not their ally.

I live in Britain and am on Three Mobile. I can’t imagine anything like this happening here. The government monitors people like crazy in the USA. Here they couldn’t care less, they are too wrapped up stealing tax payers money to buy new ponds and houses to care about whether there is a terrorist in London
Which Britain is this? The one I know is pushing a dangerous ID card scheme, has a surveillance CCTV camera for every 14 people with few controls on how images are used, and is pushing through draconian legislation for Internet monitoring and censorship, with vast new powers to fine and jail without even the intervention of the courts! That’s the reality of the UK today, unfortunately.
